手ぬぐいに染め込まれた割れた液晶の亀裂が、計算機自然と反実仮想の新たな交差点を生み出すシリーズ作品。プラチナプリントは明治初期に発明された技法であり、その古典的な手法を用いることで、あり得たかもしれない過去の写真としての存在感を持たせている。生成AIによって描かれたこの矛盾したイメージは、物質と情報、アナログとデジタルが交錯する地点を示し、計算機自然が紡ぐ反実仮想の一端を感じさせる。布が割れるという物理的には起こり得ない現象を提示することで、観る者の認識に新たな可能性をもたらす。
Tenugui dyed with the cracks of shattered LCD screens create a new crossroads between Digital Nature and counterfactuals in this series. By employing platinum printing—a technique invented in the early Meiji period—the works possess an aura of photographs that could have existed, bridging past and present. These paradoxical images, generated using AI, present intersections where matter and information, analog and digital, converge, allowing us to glimpse a facet of the counterfactuals woven by Digital Nature. By presenting the physically impossible phenomenon of cloth breaking as a counterfactual, new possibilities are offered to the viewer's perception.
