質量を持たぬ光が、身体を夢見る。木彫の手長足長が映像を希求したように、映像もまた質量を憧憬する。だがここで憧憬は転回する。物化する計算機自然のなかで、憧憬する主体と憧憬される客体は入れ替わり、溶け合い、区別を保ちながら相互に浸透する。荘周が蝶となり蝶が荘周となる物化の運動は、質量と映像のあいだを永遠に循環し、尾を呑む蛇のように自らを反芻し続ける。

As Zhuangzi becomes butterfly and butterfly becomes Zhuangzi, transformation circulates eternally between mass and image—the serpent swallowing its own tail, ruminating upon itself without end.
