ﾇﾙを植うる，ﾇﾙに浮かぶ

The rice paddies, as the primordial landscape since the advent of agriculture, are fields where bodies confronting mirrors are planted into the earth. The optical images reflected therein circulate as information, creating motifs of sacred realms and weaving humanity within nature worship into the computational processes of nature itself. This divinity, while demarcating the boundary between reality and illusion in the world reflected by mirrors, and between self and other, visually reveals the uncertainty of existence. Here, the physical act of "planting" symbolized by "Taue" and the self-recognition that "emerges" symbolized by the water mirror of "Nomori" overlap in a single phase of null.
